Toco Town was a collaborative project with our marketing and editorial departments. The goal was to create a platform for a contest which would allow Citizen readers to vote for their favorite taco in town – hence the name, and promote Ottawa Citizen Style site.
Once Facebook was chosen as the best platform to run the contest on, we designed, developed and produced all the related campaign materials: Taco Town identity, print and web ads, Facebook posts, web pages, etc.
The contest was very successful, it resulted in followers increase for Ottawa Citizen and a great promotion for Style as well as all the participating restaurants. .
